Bug Description
The web preview is nothing else than a webKit preview. It could be smarter.
I think the best way would be to preview the html file in different web browsers.
Usually a web developer needs to preview its web page in Firefox (Gecko), Chrome;Opera (Blink), Internet Explorer (Trident).
The integrated Webkit window should be used by default.
For previewing the web page in other browsers Scratch could do it like PhpStorm. Hovering the cursor (in the html document) at the top on the right would make a floating window appear.

This window should contain Chrome, Opera and Firefox. Clicking on one
browser icon would preview the actual html page you're working on.
Apropos the multiple browsers the proposed browser list could be fetched from the system. I don't know if it's possible to show only installed web browsers in the "floating window". If not maybe a list with the major web browsers for Linux (Opera, Google Chrome/Chromium, Firefox).
