live preview should be updated by typing

Even a simple .html file with only <h1> tags can't be previewed.
Maybe you should take a look at https://github.com/cyberpython/gedit3-webkitview-plugin.

I am not an advanced web developer but scratch's plugin works good with my html files. Can you give me a file example which causes you problems?

Sorry my bad i didn't know that you've to click each time on the live preview icon after some modifications.
It would be better to update the html preview each time when you time. (i changed the title of the bug report)
That way the icon itself for previewing html content would't be needed anymore.

The live previewer is not bad but is there a way to preview php code in a html file ? That would be awesome!

it's just a WebKit.WebView displaing your files. To be honest, I don't know.

Maybe with an event like onchange or something like that ?

Maybe have an 'auto refresh' option, and it refreshes one second after the last keystroke? If you auto refresh each time, it will eat CPU time, and will be broken a lot of the time.
