Bug Description

Repositories do not contain scubuntu PPA, as such scubuntu packages
are not available

=================================
e-mail of Thomas:
Hi Pieter

Look at line 344 onwards in d-i/source/choose-mirror/choose-mirror.c

and, in particular, the files in
d-i/source/apt-setup/generators/

e.g.
50mirror.ubuntu
91security
etc.

These, it seems, are called from d-i/source/apt-setup/apt-setup
see: d-i/source/apt-setup/README

Dunno whether this generated sources.list is used by the installer, but
we need it anyway ...

Cheers
=============

and chat:

Other issue:/50mirror.ubuntu
  do you suggest we take this file and create 55mirror.scubuntu
  and then add this file to be called?

  yes, I think we need a 55mirror.scubuntu
  in fact, it may be sufficient to just drop such a file in the dir - it may be run auromatically
===============================================

What happens is that based on the selected country a new sources.list is created and copied unto the newly installed system.

adding the 55mirror.scubuntu file did not seem to work
I also added the our ppa url to the 50mirror.ubuntu file in the hope that it will be included in the newly generated sources.list but that also did not work

I've reverted to using 55scubuntu.ppa - it's cleaner.

Should be fixed in ubiquity 1.11.0.1~scubuntu6

Will build RC1 of the ISO and confirm

ok, the lines get added appropriately with ubiquity 1.11.0.1~scubuntu6 + and in RC2, but I'm getting HASH errors on apt-get update after installation. Marking this fixed and opening new bug report (#300730)
