colour picker for calendars

Hi,
I'd appreciate to be able to choose the colours of the calendars when viewing several of them. I see 4 simultaneous calendars and I'd like one of them to have a colour that shows up against the others, say a colour for my personal, another colour for my work group (very important), and other minor colours for the other calendars (like my wife's).

You meant you want different colors for other calendars when you are viewing
them directly, not just when you are overlaying them ?

well my first idea would be to choose the colour for the overlay view. They
already have different colours but I'd like to choose the colour.
By extension, if it's possible to keep the same colour between the global view
(all overlayed) and the single view, that would be even better
