calendar-pdf of month cuts off at month exactly, unlike HTML view

When viewing a monthly calendar (html), often some days of the previous and/or
later month are displayed, in order to show "complete" weeks. If click on the
printer icon to view the calendar as pdf, I get a straight-forward listing of
all events in that month. Unfortunately, I don't get "complete" weeks, but the
information cuts off at the month exactly.

This is kind of confusing, since you expect to get the same information as the
html view. In the html view, you get "full weeks", even if there are some days
of the previous/next month included...
