Bug Description
Hi
I have encountered an issue with category weighting or rather when trying to remove it.
I have a custom grading scale set to round up %values to whole numbers so that 90% = A* etc. When I apply category weighting to a worksheet, for example - homework (5%), test (20%) class assignment (10%), presentation (15%) and lab work (50%), everything generates correctly. If I change the weighting values, average scores and grades adjust accordingly. However, if I set weighting back to being blank, i.e. the default setting for a new worksheet, the average score adjusts correctly but my grades all display U (my lowest grade on the custom scale). If I select a different scale, e.g. Competency, all grades are zero.
I shall be taking over the administration of our school database in September and want all teachers to go over to this system for at least recording grades, attendance and interventions. Other information such as merits will still need to be recorded using the old method. It is important that there is a functional system for teachers to use and I have already raised an issue about displaying entire comments on teacher grade book reports (which hopefully will be corrected in the next revision).
Yours,
Andrew Richards
