add button doesnt add student to new group

We can use the add all button to add students to a group but cant singly add to a group nor can we use the button to get them out of a group but need to open the group page then exclude the person.
running 2.7.0dev

Hi,only a bug, the button is not working as it should, it doesnt make the
person become a member of the chosen group,
you know the column of students and beside it the button ADD - that button
doesnt add them (like it used to and does on any other pages)

You are using the trunk ppa, right? You are lucky it works for you at all.

A major feature has just landed to trunk, changing the way relationships work. I can't confirm this behaviour, even I haven't even seen the new membership management interface.

I suggest you switch to ppa:schooltool-owners/dev, downgrade schooltool and python-schooltool, and restore one of the backups before this upgrade. See http://book.schooltool.org/install-2_0.html and http://book.schooltool.org/database.html

I have written in Bug #1272181 how to downgrade from 2.7.0 dev to a stable version.

Adding members has changed a lot since the new year, you get asked a new state (Active, Pending...) when clicking the Add button.
