Report Refinements

Hi,
I am evaluating schooltool for my non profit organization. We run after school programs in different locations. I like what I see in tems or the features, but I need to know what the reporting capabilities are before I get too involved in set ups, etc.

For example, the fact that you can customize demographic information in here seems incredibly useful to my organization. But only if I can generate reports in terms of these demographics, ie something that shows what percentage of students are male vs female, what percentage are African AMerican, etc. Is there a way to do that?

The Rsoter, too, for example, would be more useful if I could print a rester for a section that inludes each student's age, maybe an email addres.

Are these thing possible?

Hi Jacques,

We've got a few changes in the pipeline for our January release, including a customizable report. This probably needs to be split into a few specific bugs.

Hi Tom,

I see there has not been a release yet for January. I can't find the feature branch for this feature either. I would love to contribute, but would of course not want to re-do any work.

Could you recommend a way forward for me? Point me to a feature branch I can work from? Or should I just work on the latest trunk?

Well, at this point we've not yet pulled together a number of pieces from different branches that is going to end up in the trunk release. Basically a lot of the new features were developed for a client, and some of them are still just sitting in the client package.
