Home tab uses person context instead of principal

Bug Description
When the context of the view is a person object different from the principal, the tab fails.
Steps to reproduce (and for stest):
1. Log in as an instructor of a section
2. Click the Home tab. You're taken to the instructor's person index
3. Open the Sections accordion and click on a section with students enrolled
4. Click any student in the Students list.
5. Click the Home tab. You're taken to the student's person index instead of the instructor's.
