Writer Info Page Content & Style

The content to provide & display for the writer pages needs to be determined as well as the functionality of these pages (if the user should be able to revise their past submissions, etc). Style mockups & implementing the agreed upon page will move this bug off the to-do list.

I've added a "Writers" link in the sidebar of the site that takes users directly to the full listing of registered users. From here, each user's profile can be viewed (signed in users are taken to their admin page). Next up is to add some editable info fields on this page, like e-mail address, or avatar, etc.

also, if you look at the url at the bottom of the email, you will see this
is all posting to the site so its tracked...cool.

Ok, actually, spencer, think the main thing is to know what to put on that page.

Brad, that page needs to say that there are no files when they aren't found.

Ok, here are the fields I think needed.

* name (lets try to just parse what they give us as first and last name in one field like google does)
* affiliation (1 or more, along with associated title, and link to the affiliate institution)
* email
* 1 or more links with a title field to describe them
* bio limited to like 300 words, if ppl want more, they can post a link

These fields look good. When can we get them implemented? Also, I think it appropriate to change "Writers" to "Contributors" since images are also being submitted.

brad, should make sure /writers is backwards compatible too.

The writers links have been adjusted to 'contributors', where necessary. I have retained the old urls for backwards compatibilities sake, so nothing should be broken. Please update, if you notice any links that aren't working as they should or if there are any remnants of the former /writers urls present anywhere on the site (there were quite a few instances).

I'm currently working on adding additional fields to the db, displaying those on the profile page & allowing signed in users to edit that information.
