This must be a toolchain problem, since I downloaded older and older versions and still got the same error at the same point:
1.0.39, then 1.0.37.

1.0.29 failed with a different error.

Cyrus, Here you are. Architecture mismatch?? i386 vs x86-64 (I'm
trying to sound as if I know what I'm talking about!!)

Thanks,

did you run clean.sh and try it again? I don't see this with or without threads on x86-64.

TomP (tom-x-porter) wrote :

Weird, I _swear_ I had tried that before, but when I ran clean.sh and
rebuilt it all worked. Only intermediate step was to install an OLD
sbcl using homebrew so it might have been a different version that
bootstrapped the build process??

At any rate, thanks for writing back.

If I understand correctly, this turned out to be a false alarm?

Changed in sbcl:
status: New → Invalid
TomP (tom-x-porter) wrote :

Nikodemus,

That is correct: error occurred between monitor and keyboard.

Thanks for checking back.
