FWIW, sbcl-1.0.43 builds fine with clisp-2.49; I think sbcl-1.0.45 builds fine too, but there is an error in 'make test' (IIRC) - deserves a separate bug report, but AFAIR, the failure is marked as a know problem.
So, it looks the bug got fixed automagically.
