Bug Description
Please backport filezilla 3.7.3-1ubuntu1 (universe) from trusty to saucy.
Reason for the backport:
=======
the current filezilla 5.3.5 in ubuntu 12.04 LTS precise has a bug
with explicit FTP over TLS, limiting the maximum upload file size.
The only workaround is to use unencrypted connections, but this is
a security issue of course. The bug is already fixed in newer versions of
filezilla since 3.6.0.2. The filezilla bug report is here:
http://
Testing:
========
Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing.
you can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s trusty -d saucy filezilla
* saucy:
[ ] Package builds without modification
[ ] filezilla-common installs cleanly and runs
[ ] filezilla installs cleanly and runs
No reverse dependencies

Nice description. I found it. I experienced same problem on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Some minutes ago I had just downloaded the binary package from filezilla.org to avoid this and and it works fine. I think it would be nice to update FileZilla package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, because it is really annoying to install FileZilla on each client here in Network manually.
