Bug Description

Running Ubuntu 9.10, pre-requisites installed. Vala is 0.7.6. I receive the following messages when running ./build:

Running: valac --thread --pkg curses --pkg gstreamer-0.10 curses_ui.vala audioplayer.vala main_controller.vala -o sap -X -lncurses
main_controller.vala:464.31-464.46: error: Access to private member `Controller..new' denied
    Controller myController = new Controller();
                              ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
build: 56: Compilation: not found
there was a problem compiling

If I remember correctly, this bug first appeared when Vala released the 0.7.5 and the bug is fixed in trunk and the 0.5 branch
