Bug Description

I don't know how samsung-tools graphical notifications work on other Linux distributions, but on Linux Mint 15 they do not disappear automatically after some timeout. They must be clicked on to get rid of them. Other application notifications disappear automatically. Is there a way to fix this that I've been unable to find? If not, perhaps this should be considered a bug as it does not conform to LM user expectations?

What version of Samsung Tools are you using? This bug was fixed in Samsung Tools 2.2.

I have samsung-tools 2.3-1 and GNOME Shell 3.10.2.1 and I suppose this affects me too. For example, if I press the key to change the fan mode, a notification pops up and just never goes away. Of course, I can close it by clicking on the X as usual, but other notifications just come and then minimise themselves for you to look at later.

Same here on Ubuntu Gnome 13.10. Clicking on the message itself removes it, but clicking on the X in the top right corner minimizes the message to the tray.

Just checked and realized, that it makes no difference how the message is closed, both times it vanishes without going into the message tray. The timeout problem still persists. Using the latest version from Voria's PPA (2.3).
