Bug Description

SamePlace seems to have problems with usernames, that contain unicode characters.

I have tested this issue with PSI and there was no problem.

Could you provide an example? Is this about registration or other people's user names? A list of steps that I can follow and reproduce the problem would be perfect.

I tried to register the test username "Ψ-test" at jabber.org for example.

After typing in every information into the account wizard, I get the message, that the account was verified. But shortly after that I get an error message: "XMPP: Error during authentication."

Also the username Ψ-test is written as ¨-test in the account manager. It seems, that SamPlace can't handle unicode characters correctly.

Then I tried it with the Jabber-client Psi and get the error: "Resource constraint. The server or recipient lacks the system resources necessary to service the request." (and it doesn't care, which username I try to register).

But at another time it was no problem for Psi to register a username with an unicode character (and login) at jabber.org.

Do you know a server where this is supposed to work? I'd gladly test but I need a way to know when I've found the solution...

I would try the official jabber.org server.
I tried it too (with PSI) and it works.
