Bug Description

Environment:
Sameplace 2008030614
Thunderbird version 2.0.0.6 (20070728)
WinXP Sp2 & All updates
Messages configured to appear in mail window

To reproduce:
1) Open a chat with a contact

2) Type message

(To confirm the Clipboard is OK)
3) Select message text before sending & hit CTRL+C, Open Notepad and CTRL+V to paste. Text is succesfully pasted

4) Add some more text to the message and send.

5) Select sent message from chat window and hit CTRL+C

6) Go to Notepad and CTRL+V

**BUG** The original text from 3) is pasted, not the text selected in 5)

No other clipboard utilities are running.

I'm a big fan of SamePlace, so if there's any more info you need, drop me a mail. I'm on UK time.

Sorry, reopening -- this is fully fixed in Firefox/Flock but only partly in Thunderbird: the "Copy" context menu item works but the Control+C hotkey does not (it's already taken by Thunderbird itself). Might be enough for most cases but this bug was explicitly about the Control+C hotkey.
