Bug Description

The window titlebars revert to Ambiance or the standard Metacity theme in GNOME Shell for some reason.

After trying the theme in 12.10's GNOME Shell, it looks like we only get a default Metacity theme there instead. Either way, it looks broken.

I think the issue was merely that I was using Ubuntu Tweak to set the window theme previously, and it wasn't working correctly for some reason. I was able to apply the theme successfully using GNOME Tweak Tool, and it stayed that way even after a reboot. Since this is probably an Ubuntu Tweak bug and not a Salience one, I'm closing this report.
