Orange top bars in Nautilus, Gedit, etc. need to go

Bug Description

The top bars (the exact terminology escapes me) shown when editing a modified file in Gedit, visiting the Trash folder in Nautilus, etc., need to be replaced. There's just too much bright orange there that's not needed.

Preferably the orange should either be darkened, or replaced with a dark gray. See attached screenshots for how it looks now, and some ideas for how it should look instead. (Note that the screenshot and the mockups based on it are from the round & glossy buttons branch, but they are equally applicable to regular Salience.)

Related branches

Personally, I like option 4 best. If anyone has feedback or additional ideas to submit, please do so.

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions, but those buttons in the current look
are looking _really_ good ;)

"Current look" is kinda vague...are you referring to trunk or the round & glossy branch? (A little offtopic, but I'm curious to know.)

Oh, the current look image (the nautilus one)

Fixes for this in trunk start at r95. Nautilus is the only application being stubborn about the changes though, so I'll need to investigate there a little more.

status: Triaged → In Progress

The Nautilus-specific fixes are now in trunk r100.
