crashes just after sending a bug to debian

I wanted to file a bug to debian using ubuntu reportbug_3.17ubuntu1, but it crashed for me just before sending the email:

just wanted to note that this bug got indeed submitted

I can still see this problem. The bug does get submitted, only the printing an informative message to the user fails.
