Bug Description
Safe-rm hangs when trying to specify a directory structure with several subdirectory layers within it.
For example, "/home/user" has several subdirectories and each of those subdirectories have more subdirectories. As per bug 724107, you will need to specify each subdirectory and their sub directories in safe-rm.conf to protect all contents from being deleted. Since I want to protect everything in /home/user, I added something like this:
/home/user/*/*/*/*
For this example, the total directory count is several hundred. The result causes safe-rm to hang or have a severe lag time when loading the directories, that the command becomes unusable.
