Bug Description

After an update I could not start rttr.sh anymore, the command line threw the following error:

/usr/bin/../bin/s25client: error while loading shared libraries: libminiupnpc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
An error occured: press enter to continue

I completely reinstalled s25rttr and libminiupnpc but nothing changed. (version 20101224-6945)

That's what I thought too. I now upgraded to version 20110216-7040 but still the same problem here. Probably just my machine has some special problem. I will check it again with a completely new system at the and of april.

perhaps the machine has an too old libminiupnpc (try to look at /usr/lib
if there is a /usr/lib/libminiupnpc.so.5)

Okay, that helped, thank you! There was no /usr/lib/libminiupnpc.so.5 and so I removed libminiupnpc and reinstalled it and TATATA: Everything works now. Why updating and direct reinstalling has not helped before seems unclear to me.
