Bug Description

python-gnome2-extras has been split into other packages, the package manager says it refers to
python-gtkspell python-gtkmozembed python-gksu2 python-gdl python-gda python-eggtrayicon

however on installing them you still get the error

  File "./runewin", line 54, in <module>
    gtk.window_set_default_icon_from_file("/usr/share/pixmaps/runewin.svg")
glib.GError: Couldn't recognize the image file format for file '/usr/share/pixmaps/runewin.svg'

I had to manually download the pygtk source and build it to even get runewin to run.

Interesting, Which versions of pygtk are affected? and which Distro/release? I've not seen this crop up once personally so I'm not sure where to start

Quick google came up with something about missing the package librsvg, shall add that to the list of deps I think, plus python-gnome2-extras should not be needed now

I was on kubuntu lucid, and once thats implemented i'll uninstall the version pygtk I built from source and check if the issue is resolved.

Thankyou. I do believe it's uploaded the latest version now, so
apt-get upgrade runewin (or bzr, both are the same atm) and give me a
shout.

Yeah the problem seems to be resolved. I can run it fine now without pygtk built from source.
