2012-09-21 16:15:34 Dmitry Gribanov description I have D-Link DWA-125 rev A2 [RT3070] and connect to 802.11n network. At 12.04 and 12.10 driver shows a very bad performance. Constant breaks, dropped packets and loss of signal. On other os this dongle shows a good perfomance. wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:"barbara streisand" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: 34:08:04:DC:5A:E8 Bit Rate=6.5 Mb/s Tx-Power=27 dBm Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Power Management:on Link Quality=31/70 Signal level=-79 dBm Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:1099 Invalid misc:4 Missed beacon:0 itux@itux-ubuntu:~$ ping 192.168.1.1 PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=7 ttl=64 time=2041 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=8 ttl=64 time=1048 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=9 ttl=64 time=40.4 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=11 ttl=64 time=25.3 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=12 ttl=64 time=24.7 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=13 ttl=64 time=3.94 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=14 ttl=64 time=3.80 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=15 ttl=64 time=3.92 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=19 ttl=64 time=2024 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=20 ttl=64 time=1016 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=21 ttl=64 time=8.70 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=22 ttl=64 time=16.7 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=23 ttl=64 time=9.68 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=24 ttl=64 time=7.80 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_req=25 ttl=64 time=11.1 ms ^C --- 192.168.1.1 ping statistics --- 25 packets transmitted, 15 received, 40% packet loss, time 24126ms rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 3.805/419.177/2041.872/719.651 ms, pipe 3 I have D-Link DWA-125 rev A2 [RT3070] and connect to 802.11n network.
