autogen.sh fails badly if aclocal, libtoolize, autoconf, autoheader or automake is missing

Bug Description

If at least one tool among aclocal, libtoolize, autoconf, autoheader or automake is missing, the autogen.sh script fails badly. The error messages are not very clear. The autogen.sh script could check if tools are present on the system before trying to run them and fail.
