Bug Description
The following is not exactly a bug, but I wasn't sure how else to file it.
When turning (with a sliding transition) near the rotating dome on crater island (or the dome on village island also) the transition looks jagged, since we see a piece of the entire dome in the old image together with a piece of the dome from the new image, but the two are disconnected from each other. This can be seen in the screenshots attached below.
I have an old (deteriorating) G4 powerbook at my disposal, and have been able to install the old version of Riven via the Classic environment. I find that in the old version of Riven, some of these transitions were modified to make them look smoother. I think what is done is that part of the new card is covered by the old card during the transition, so that the dome looks whole rather than broken into pieces.
I've attached a screenshot of one of these transitions from the original (OS 9) game. I'm not sure how difficult this sort of thing would be to implement in Riven X, but it might be worth considering. Thanks,
- Ben

Mmm, if you take a second look at the transition on that specific card, does it appear that the new card is just sliding on top of the new one? Riven X seems to be "pushing" the old card with the new.
