xubuntu, crash during connect

below is the log from a xubuntu machine which crashed in step 3.
allow control the desktop and reers connection was both ticked.
the helper app on ubuntu did find the computer and sigalled that it was connecting

this one might be a doupe of 349792

It's kind a frustrating when everything works at home and in the wild it breaks... I've always managed to connect ubuntu<>xubuntu in my LAN but not over the internet... :-/
