Bug Description

This is rather odd.
If I enable Evernote integration, then Notes becomes an evernote client - I can see, and apparantly edit, evernote notes in this app.

But I can't see any Ubuntu notes in evernote, at least not in evernote on the web.

that really should work... If you create a new note after setting up evernote, it's not appearing on the server?

Right.. Now I sort of understand.. Nearly.

There are two things confusing me.

1. Notes created locally before connecting to evernote are hidden by the act of connecting.. They don't get added to the evernote list of notes.. You can't see them again till you select 'store locally' at whichbpoint the evernote content vanishes and the local ones come back.

2. Edits made on the web interface are not reflected back into the notes app.

I had a note I created in the app titled 'bug reports' and whosectext body contained two urls.
I was able to find this in the web interface
I changed the title and the text body in the web interface.. On returning to the app the title had changed immediately, but the text body did not, and some hours later it has not.

This may be am evernote issue.. I connected with my android phone, and that also has the unmodified text body.

Now go to the setup 'hamburger' menu and select local storage only.

I had expected this to be merged with the other notes.. But in fact they are kept separate.

If /two/ evernote accounts are set up, then only one at a,time is,displayed.. There is no common pool.. It seems as though theclocal notes are the same.

Havejust re- opened the web interface, and done a bit of poking.. It seems as though the title edit goes through from web to app, but the text body is only stored in evernote.. Deselecting and reselecting the remote account within the app overwrites the text body wig what is visible in the app.

I think that what is visible in the app is not stored on the tablet, but cachedsomewhere external.

So my type 1 confusion appears to be by design and not properly documented
And my type 2 confision.is probably nowt to do with the notes app.

Well, it's all moot now.
I just got an email saying that the free 'basic' account would be restricted to two devices, and anything else would be premium. So I have deactivated my account and left Evernote.
