Trying to reproduce the problem, here is some more information.

Registering an existing /Evernote/ account for use with Ubuntu Online Accounts works without issues. You authenticate in the OA webview and are then presented with the screen to authorize the Reminders App to be able to use your Evernote identity on their servers.

This is different from registering a /new Evernote/ account, via the OA webview. In that case, a new identity is created over at Evernote, and returned for integration with Online Accounts. This is this specific version of 'signining in' which seems broken.

I'm just looking at the diff of revision 330, when offline mode landed, and it seems to me that the account creation can never work.
Previously, when the token was being set on the EvernoteConnection object, a connection to the server was attempted; this would have caused the username to be retrieved, and the account creation would have finished.

Now, the connectToEvernote() method is no longer called when the token is set, so nothing will happen and the account plugin will keep waiting for an event which will never come.
