Trying to reproduce the problem, here is some more information.
Registering an existing /Evernote/ account for use with Ubuntu Online Accounts works without issues. You authenticate in the OA webview and are then presented with the screen to authorize the Reminders App to be able to use your Evernote identity on their servers.
This is different from registering a /new Evernote/ account, via the OA webview. In that case, a new identity is created over at Evernote, and returned for integration with Online Accounts. This is this specific version of 'signining in' which seems broken.
