In tablet mode, create or edit a reminder cause a loop, and no remider is created

Start the app on PC, and leave it in tablet mode
Choose a note
Press on reminder button

What is expected:
The icon change, a reminder is created

What happens:
No reminder is created, on console there is this output:

I believe this is due to bug #1303746, thus marking it as a duplicate. If you think it's not, please feel free to unduplicate. In summary, until that bug fix is backported to trusty, the app will remain unusable on the desktop.
