Bug Description

If I try to make a custom Linux distro:

The compressed filesystem is larger than the iso9660 specification allows for a single file. You must try to reduce the amount of data you are making and try again.

I found out that there were to many files on the disk. Could you please warn users before making the squashfs? By calculating how big the iso will be and then display an error if it's to big? That will save me a lot of time.

Regards,
Smile4everx

That happens in the ISO generation. The limit will be removed in 0.6, but I will add much more detailed steps in 0.4, so that you won't have to regenerate the squashfs file, only the ISO file (which was not generated).

Changed in relinux:
milestone: none → 0.4.0a1
status: New → Incomplete
status: Incomplete → In Progress
importance: Undecided → Medium
