Bug Description

In Kubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid), there is something wrong with the MIME settings. When attempting to open a linked PDF, an error dialogue appears reporting Exception: No default action associated. This also occurs when attempting to open the help file (Introduction - Ctrl-H).

Similar problem reported in this thread: http://icculus.org/pipermail/referencer/2007-October/000194.html but the resolution was to install evince which doesn't work for me. Where does referencer look for the associated file types?

Same here in Kubuntu 8.04 (Hardy). Unfortunately, installing Evince didn't fix the problem.

I also have this problem in Kubuntu 9.10 and I already had Evince installed (Great program otherwise though).
