Bug Description
When linking a reference to a PDF file, the "Open" option in the context menu of that entry is not enabled until another entry is hilighted. This bug occurs both in the List View and in the Icon View.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Select "Documents->Add Empty Reference" from the menu. Add some data (do not add a file) and click Save.
2. Right-click the new entry in the main view. The context menu should open and the option "Open" is (and should be) disabled as there is no file linked to this reference.
3. Select "Properties" from the context menu. Add a PDF file and click Save.
4. Immediately right-click the same entry in the main view. The "Open" option is still disabled even if a file was just added.
5. Click another entry or empty space to dehilight the new entry. Right-click the new entry again. Now the "Open" option is enabled in the context menu.
This happens in the most recent version in Ubuntu 12.04, and also in the current version in the launchpad repository (2015-04-14 13:26:52 UTC, Revision ID: <email address hidden>).
Context menu (and Documents menu) items are enabled and disabled in docSelectionChanged (). Calling this after the Document Properties dialog exits seems to fix the problem; a possible patch is http:// bazaar. launchpad. net/~jikokkala/ referencer/ contextmenu/ revision/ 939
