The drop-down-menue in the small tag-window doesnt work

Clicking on the tag-icon a small window with two drop-down-lists appears. But the second drop-down-list with the tags doesn't work. It's inactive. When I click on annotation-icon and choose "tag" in the first drop-down-menu the second menu works and provides a list with the tags I made previously.

Actually this is not a bug, but a design decision. In most scenarios it only makes sense to add the same tag to multiple days. In my opinion you wouldn't add the sme category content to two different days. In most cases when you want the dropdown list for the second list you should consider if a tag wouldn't make more sense.

Maybe you can provide me with a counter example ;) What do you want to add twice to a category?

The bug is a little bit tricky. It just happens when you use not a
single annotation but only tags. (So, to reproduce that bug please
delete all your annotations, just use tags and restart the
RedNotebook :-) ) If you want to tag a new entry/day you click on the
tag-icon on the right. Then that small window with the two
drop-down-lists appears but the lower drop-down-list is greyed out and
doesn't work. There are no previously used tags availabe in that list.

But when you also use an annotation then the second drop-down-list
provides a list with all your tags you have made.

Maybe my bug report was a little bit confusing. I mentioned the
annotation because it provided a work-around which showed a list of tags
I made previously.

Can you reproduce this :-)

Thanks for explaining the issue. I could reproduce it and have already fixed it. It will be available in version 1.1

It would be great if you could confirm this once that version is out (it won't be in 1.0 though).
