Move entries between tag categories

Hello, I'd like to request the following feature: Move an entry from a tag (e.g. Todo list) to another (e.g. Done) w/o having to type it again. Would love it!

Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, I don't see an easy generic way of accomplishing this. Drag and drop could work, but we are currently trying to phase out the right tag pane in favor of hashtags. Currently, not all things that are possible with right-pane tags are possible with hashtags though.

On the subject of hashtags, which I'm generally new to, it seems to me that the current system could be vastly improved if the hash tags operated on a per line basis. Right now, if I put a tag into a journal entry that entire day is tagged. It seems tags would be much more useful if they operated on a paragraph/line basis, for example:

Take out the trash #todo\\

The tag #todo would grab the start of the new paragraph to the end of line following the tag, take the text, except the tag, and enter it into the database for that tag.

Clicking on #todo would bring up:

Take out the trash <and optionally the date of the tagged text>

It would work similarly for line/line:

So I got a new trashcan\\
Take out the trash #todo\\

Would enter "Take out the trash" into the hashtag database - from the prior newline to the end of the current line.

To deal with this users new feature request, if the tag was a link to the journal entry, he could go there, and edit the tag, which would move the data to the new tag, when that journal entry was saved. When repainting the main screen, you would examine each tag to make sure it still existed in the journal entry it came from, and if not remove it from the tag database for #todo.

Thanks for bringing this up. The issue is already on my radar, however, I haven't gotten around to doing something about it, yet. We should definitely make the serch results for tags more relevant to the tag.
