Bug Description

In edit mode, something like 紅樓 displays just fine. Once you click on Preview mode, however, it gets displayed as square boxes. (If you copy-paste the boxes into another application such as Chrome, it displays just fine again.) Exported PDFs have this problem as well (non-ASCII characters are displayed as boxes even in Linux when viewing PDFs created in Windows). Text is in fact saved and stored correctly, however.

Everything works just fine in Linux (including PDFs created in Linux -- viewable just fine in Windows). Logs are basically the same for both platforms (except for "Connected Signals") so not copy-pasting.

The problem is that the libwebkit dll that is shipped with RedNotebook for Windows is outdated. Finding or building a newer version is a little complicated unfortunately.

libwebkit is actually fine, I proposed a change at https://code.launchpad.net/~amosjyng/rednotebook/fix-windows-chinese-font/+merge/268439 that fixes this issue (at least, it renders fine on my machine now).

In the end it just turned out to be a font issue on Windows, PDF export works now as well.

I don't know what studded tires sound like but I'm sure they are noisy so that is confusing things. You must have some sort of jack available, even the emergency jack? As long as you aren't getting under the car with it (Never do this!!), you could check the wheel for play. There should be none. If you aren't sure what it feels like, shake down all of the tires and I'm guessing most tires won't have any play at all. If the suspected wheel bearing is that bad then you should be able to feel it. Not sure if this is always the case though as I have only changed a few wheel bearing in my life.

Note if you do attempt something like this with an emergency jack do it on level and solid ground and only if your structural integrity of the rocker panels are good, often in the rust belt the pinch weld and surround areas is rotted out. Might be good to take to your mechanic if you aren't sure.

No people are just obsessed with the idea that they can *measure intelligence*, when in reality the test is bullshit. I have never taken one and will not. It measures logic/reasoning. These things do not make up our entire cognitive ability and therefore are a terrible scoring system. What about creativity? Emotional intelligence? Memory recall?

It's a shitty test and a way for people to put themselves above others.

People with a high IQ are not automatically geniuses. But generally Geniuses score well and people with mental deficiencies score poorly.. I wonder why that is.........?
