Bug Description
Original description:
Remove the tag panel in favor of the inline hashtags. The reason is that for many users the additional panel just adds confusion and little benefit. Before the panel is removed, we need to make sure to cover all use cases with the hashtags (see e.g. https:/

Make tag panel optional.

Here's one of my uses for the TAG PANE. I'm a semi-retired guy, now an engineering consultant, and I track my billable project hours and expenses using the following tags. Hours,[ function] Destination, Miles
Hours %Project,
Expenses %Proj,Item,Amount
Mileage %Project,
ToDo
Done
Each calendar day might have between zero to ten of these tags. I keep a running project activity log on the calendar pages. It's easy to generate progress reports and invoices from these notes. I recognize that this is a pedestrian approach to things but it's simple and good enough for my purposes.
The new hashtags do not support this use case insofar as I can tell. I have used this tracking method since the days of paper DayTimers, so you might consider this use to be a regression; not the way you want RedNotebook to evolve.
