Bug Description
This is not a bug, it is a recommended feature.
I like RedNotebook as a journal but I would also like to use it to track ongoing notes that don't change with the date.
For example, I have notes for Prospects, Things To Do, Customer Issues, Serious Problems, Comments, Misc, Phone #s, and Customer List to name a few.
RedNotebook has the note capability but it only seems to be associated with a day. I would like to see tabs on the right half of the screen where I can keep lists of notes on a continual basis. Each tab is a different set of notes.
I believe this would make RedNotebook viable for a much wider audience.
Thanks,

RedNotebook is a journal application, not a note-taking app. If you search the latter there are better alternatives like KeepNote.
That said your comment made me think if we couldn't make note-taking in RedNotebook simpler. One idea would be to add e.g. the tag #Prospects to each paragraph in which you want to take a note about your prospects. Currently, you can then search for #prospect and see the dates of all days with that tag in the search column on the left. The new addition would be to create a temporary view in the center pane that shows you an overview of all paragraphs tagged with #prospects at the same time. You would then be able to make adjustments (copy, delete and move prospects) and they would be saved back to their respective days automatically later.
