Bug Description

Since the upgrade to RN 1.5 (Windows XP), Unicode characters do not display correctly anymore in Preview mode. They do display correctly in Edit mode.

For example: CTRL-SHIFT-U + 21D2 (RIGHTWARDS DOUBLE ARROW)

Reverting back to RN 1.4 fixed the display problem.

We have a super wide, beautiful biking trail in our town (near Orlando) that parallels a major road, but the bicyclists that wear spandex have deemed themselves too good for it. They wobble around in the road, cut out into traffic from blind intersections, and run red lights at major intersections with impunity, all while getting pissed off if cars don't give them the utmost respect. I used to be fine with cyclists before living here, but now it's clear that the whole lot of them are lunatics with a death wish.

What is your Minecraft username: Yogoda

How old are you: 33

How long have you been playing Minecraft: Since beta (just before multiplayer), years ago.

Do you accept our rules: No problem.

What type of player are you: I like exploring, building secret bases and doing redstone, but I won't do anything that lags the server, I promise. I'm more of a solitary person.

What can you offer to our community:

I have quite some experience with Minecraft, and I have created and managed servers. I had to deal with server performance problems, griefing, selecting moderators, managing player rules and trying to deal with drama queens.
I have experiance with Bukkit and plugins. I always try to be a nice person and play by the rules.

Any questions or clarification: I'm pretty shy and english is not my first language. I'm from the french-speaking part of Switzerland.

Subject: Hahaha it works!

You do realize that speed limits are made from studying the amount of traffic on a road, the size of the road and the amount of accidents by increasing the limit?

You are not an island. If you are on a private road you are more than capable of doing whatever you want on it. If you want to talk about privatizing the public roads that's a different argument. But with public roads it's not just about you. It's about everyone else out there.
____________________

Let's replace all of the words speeding with drinking:

How do you drink and drive on a private road?

What is getting drunk??

When does it become dangerous?

So 1 drink over the limit is guaranteed to kill/harm someone else?

What about the people that are perfectly capable of handling more drinks?

What about car condition, driver ability, et al? Why am I "rewarded" a DUI for being a better driver and or driving a better car without getting into an accident? Why aren't people "rewarded" with a ticket for not getting out of the passing lane, which does nothing but cause road rage?
____

Essentially your argument is that you should be capable of increasing the likelihood of someone else getting injured through your choices and not their own. To use your argument in other terms, what if I decide in the middle of a baseball game to switch out the ball with a grenade? Extreme I know. Now I can't guarantee that the grenade will go off when being hit. It might not. But I've suddenly increased the likelihood of someone getting hurt. Should I be allowed to do so without regard to the rest of the players opinions on the field?
