Cannot install

I am using rhythmbox 3.4.2 on ubuntu 18.04 but after I install it I cannot see the option on the menu.

The plugin is correctly installed /home/jose/.local/share/rhythmbox/plugins/fileorganizer and run the python script and did not report any missing dependency.

I use dconf-editor and could not find none of the values, nor find a way to manually add them.

Dev is on github. I use 3.4.2 currently and there are no install issues. If you're using the version from launchpad there is no way it will be working on recent rhythmbox versions

Run install.py or depends_test.py to check for missing packages. Depends test will check whether all the correct libraries are installed.

I installed directly from github ond find the same problem:

It installs from a live cd in my testing. I just ran install.py and it worked out of the box without any missing dependencies.

The only other thing I can think of is that you're installing using the python command which points to python2. RB requires python3 so maybe you've customised your setup and are still missing something.

run rhythmbox -D fileorganizer to see any errors but there aren't any i can see.

If you can find anything post if on github i only keep launchpad for historical purposes.
