ddrescue package does not work and should not be in bookworm

Bug Description

According to https://github.com/raspberrypi/bookworm-feedback/issues/240 the "ddrescue" package should not be included in the bookworm release. It was suggested that a file a bug report here, so that's what I'm doing!!

Forgot to mention that the reason I was looking into this is that the dd_rescue command in this package does not work (just throws an error message). I'm told that I should be using gddrescue in Raspbian and the ddrescue package should not be included.
