Tripwire packaged binaries segfault (bookworm - Model B Rev 2) but work when rebuilt from source

Bug Description

Since I upgraded to Raspbian Bookworm, the tripwire packaged binaries crash:

the daily cron crashes with the following output:

/etc/cron.daily/tripwire:
Software interrupt forced exit: Arithmetic Exception
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/tripwire exited with return code 8

While looking for this issue, I found this one which seems very similar: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=994910

I recompiled the package from source using dpkg-buildpackage and now it works so there is a problem with the binaries on the repository.

Also the update asked for a new site password although I had already set one before
