Bug Description
The valgrind launcher script adds (or sets) /usr/lib/debug to LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
This serves no purpose. Valgrind will already look in that directory for debuginfo files.
However, for libstdc++ there is no dbgsym package (that I know of). Instead there is libstdc++6-12-dbg which installs a whole library to /usr/lib/
Setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to that (if it exists) would be more useful.
