No bluetooth on Bullseye Rpi Zero 2W

Bug Description
Pi Zero 2W, install clean May Buster, bluetooth is fine, then apt-get dist-upgrade to bullseye. Bluetooth stops working in the following manner,

I'm stumped, but here to help in any way (linux systems software engineer, just not a bluetooth person)

Additionally, The problem is not observed on a Pi3 nor Pi4.
