VNC server not working after upgrade on RPi3 and RPi4B

Bug Description

After upgrading to the latest version of the VNC Server and viewer:

Preparing to unpack .../5-realvnc-vnc-server_6.5.0.41730_armhf.deb ...
Unpacking realvnc-vnc-server (6.5.0.41730) over (6.4.1.40826) ...

I am not able to use the server, and i get this message:

On some distributions (in particular Red Hat), you may get a better experience
by running vncserver-virtual in conjunction with the system Xorg server, rather
than the old version built-in to Xvnc. More desktop environments and
applications will likely be compatible. For more information on this alternative
