Bug Description

The package gcc-arm-none-eabi does provide the gcc/g++ cross compiler version 4.9.3. The according package for the C++ standard library (libstd++-arm-none-eabi-newlib) is for compiler version 5.3.2 .Please resolve that mismatch in version, because otherwise the C++ standard library is not usable with the provided arm-none-eabi tools.
Thanks

Well you are the first person i've seen complain about it.

The problem is that the gcc-arm-none-eabi package falls foul of our armv7 contamination checker which prevents new versions of it being uploaded automatically. I need to look into adding an exception to the contamination checker.

Ok, I added wildcard support to the exception mechanism in the contamination checker, thanks to "jelly" on irc. This made it practical to add exceptions for the files in gcc-arm-none-eabi. The stretch version is now uploaded and should hopefully be included in the next update run. I'm still working on the buster one.

So the mismatch between the standard library and the compiler is resolved? I'll check asap
