Bug Description

I am using pam_mount on Raspian 8, with an NFS share. If I login using the command line, the NFS share is mounted successfully and I am logged in, presented with a prompt. When I try the same thing in PIXEL, entering my correct username and password, the screen goes blank for a few seconds and the login prompt reappears, however the NFS share is successfully mounted indicating that I have logged in, however I simply return to the login prompt instead of a usable desktop.

My /etc/security/pam_mount.conf.xml excerpt is below, the rest is unchanged from the default.

<volume fstype="nfs4" server="192.168.1.11" path="/%(USER)" mountpoint="~" />
<mkmountpoint enable="1" remove="true" />

Running kernel 4.4.38-v7+ with Raspbian PIXEL, on a raspberry pi zero.
