Bug Description
Running latest package freerdp-x11 on latest Raspbian Jessie on RPi2
Steps to reproduce:
- Install xfreerdp from Raspbian repository (# apt-get install freerdp-x11)
- Run xfreerdp from xterm to connect to an X11RDP server using the RemoteFX option ($ xfreerdp /v:rdpserver.domain /rfx)
Actual results:
- xfreerdp window opens to ask for login credentials
- xfreerdp window closes just prior to user session opening
- The following error is sent to stdout:
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 72 (X_PutImage)
Serial number of failed request: 1429
Current serial number in output stream: 1621
Expected results:
- user session should run with RemoteFX enabled
Other information:
- This bug does not appear in the amd64 package for Debian Jessie (i.e. RemoteFX worked before I switched my thin client from Debian on an Atom machine to Raspbian on an RPi2)
- A quick search for the error turned up results on the upstream FreeRDP Bug list, specifically https:/
I just realized that I missed (possibly crucial) detail about my setup: I'm actually running Raspbian Jessie Lite, over which I:
# apt-get install xorg fluxbox slim
