Bug Description

Running `grep-available -FPriority 'required' -sPackage` produces a list of packages with priority 'required'. Doing a diff on the output between vanilla debian and rasbian produces:

12a13,14
> Package: gcc-4.6-base
> Package: gcc-4.7-base
47a50
> Package: mountall
60a64
> Package: xz-utils

Why are these four packages 'required' in raspbian but not in debian (jessie)?

In particular, mountall is the one causing me trouble because it depends on makedev which I don't want.

More info:

gcc-4.6-base only exists in wheezy: https://packages.qa.debian.org/g/gcc-4.6.html

gcc-4.7-base only exists in wheezy (and sid): https://packages.qa.debian.org/g/gcc-4.7.html

mountall is not needed: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=810673

xz-utils is not really required: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=685203

I can confirm the difference.

gcc seems to be required but no particular version.
