raspbian jessie won't boot to console

Bug Description
After installing Jessie I have been unable to disable the graphical interface. The raspi-config option did not change the interface. "systemctl disable lightdm" and "systemctl disable graphical" also failed. The old "update-rc.d lightdm disable" also failed.

How did you install Jessie?
On the day of your bug report, afiak there was no raspbian Jessie image.
